What versions of PRO Menu are available?
PRO Menu has been enhancing AutoCAD since Release 12. Current versions are each designed specifically for AutoCAD 2009 to 2002, and AutoCAD LT 2009 to LT 2000.
Is PRO Menu easy to learn ?
PRO Menu's commands are all easy, intuitive and logically organized in the menus and toolbars. It needs no special procedures to start up, everything loads automatically. Extensive on-line help explains all the new features and commands.
Is it easy to install ?
PRO Menu installs in less than a minute, and simply adds a new profile and menu files. Existing menus or ACAD.LSP file are not changed. You can switch back to your old menu at any time by restoring the previous profile. AutoCAD LT users can switch menus using the free LT Profile utility, available on the download page.
Does it put any special objects or settings in drawing files ?
Not at all. Drawings created with PRO Menu are no different than those using standard AutoCAD. The only difference is it takes less time using PRO Menu.
Why use PRO Menu instead of my own customized menu ?
No matter what customization you've done, PRO Menu adds time-saving tools you don't have now, and won't find anywhere else. Even with "free" macros and AutoLISP routines similar to some in PRO Menu, it would take a programmer many hours to make them work well, and to all work properly together. And then you'd have only a small part of what PRO Menu provides. Your own time is best spent adapting AutoCAD to your specific needs, which only you can do. PRO Menu is fully customizable, and you can still use your own toolbars and menus to get the best of both worlds.
Is it really worth 125 bucks ?
